NSA call records program
Orin Kerr has a couple of great posts (here and here) on the legality of the NSA's call record program.
Good stuff, especially the second link. I notice NONE of the media stories mention the applicable Patriot Act adjustment from last March.
I think this raises some interesting issues regarding the President's inherrent CinC powers, and the problems with the Congress trying to execute a war via statute.
