It Could Be Worse...

...we could be the University of New Mexico School of Law's FedSoc Chapter. Whatever irritations do come up, it's nice to be treated with respect here at this school. All the more evidence to show how a strong Federalist Society - and faculty encouragement of it - benefits all law students.

So dose the textbook author examined in the previous post teach at UNM? I wonder what the school's bar passage and employment upon graduation rates are.

Being a moderate milqtoast, I am not as sensitive to criticism toward the right (I still have no respect for Pres. Bush)as many FedSoc folks are; however, I do recognize when dogma interferes with the development of critical thinking skills. I suppose I should hope that I go up against UNM grad when in court -- it'll be a cake walk (and I love cake!)

Going a little off topic, does the UW have (or has it ever had) a prosecutorial clinic like the one briefly mentioned in the article?

---
Last year the faculty achieved a prized, long-term goal: it terminated a hugely popular "DA Law Clinic" where students worked with the local District Attorney's Office.

I'd be very interested in any information about this topic, my e-mail is jasonbsykes@gmail.com. Thanks!
